About Dr. Rodolfo Gari
Dr. Rodolfo Gari is a highly accomplished healthcare and business entrepreneur. He is a successful board-certified anesthesiologist and pain management expert. In particular, Dr. Gari is known for combining medical knowledge with business strategies, specializing in business development, strategic and tactical planning, and healthcare efficiency. Dr. Gari is based in Tampa, Florida, and has founded and managed several healthcare and business enterprises.
Over the years, Dr. Rodolfo Gari has founded several successful businesses in various industries. His first venture was with the Tampa Pain Relief Center. He founded the company in 1996 and was the CEO for several years. This gave Dr. Gari the confidence to launch his next organization – Anesthesiology Professional Services. He founded Anesthesiology Professional Services three years after his first venture. Anesthesiology Professional Services provided outpatient anesthesia services. Later, in 2001, Dr. Gari founded Surgery Partners, an ambulatory surgery center.
Dr. Rodolfo Gari simultaneously ran these three healthcare companies for over eight years. During this time, he built them up, expanding them to several locations around Florida. In 2009, Dr. Gari successfully sold Surgery Partners Holdings and its affiliates. This gave Dr. Gari the confidence needed to launch a career as a financial entrepreneur.
In 2010, Dr. Rodolfo Gari founded Gari Capital, an investment company based in Tampa, Florida. Gari Capital’s goal has always been acquiring or partnering with companies and organizations to flesh out a balanced portfolio. Since its founding, Dr. Gari has led the company as CEO. This led to Dr. Gari founding Business Integrity Services (BIS) in 2019. BIS is a healthcare service provider with ambitious goals, providing that Dr. Gari has not left the healthcare field behind. Finally, Dr. Rodolfo Gari is the President and CEO of Gari Enterprises Investments. Gari Enterprises Investments manages investments and assets for Gari Family Office.
Dr. Gari’s educational background is extensive, having earned a Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry from the University of South Florida in Tampa, where he graduated cum laude. He then earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine, followed by an internship in internal medicine at Orlando Regional Medical Center and a residency in anesthesiology at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami. Not satisfied with just a medical degree, Dr. Gari returned to school after about ten years of working in the healthcare industry to earn a Master of Business Administration from the University of South Florida College of Business, specializing in finance and entrepreneurship.
Outside of his work, Dr. Gari is compassionate and dedicated to giving back to his community. He supports several nonprofit organizations, including The Children’s Home in Tampa, which helps children who have suffered abuse, neglect, or abandonment. Dr. Gari also supports Susan G. Komen for the Cure, Habitat for Humanity International, and Metropolitan Ministries.
When he’s not busy with work or giving back to his community, Dr. Gari enjoys participating in physical activities such as football, basketball, bicycling, and jogging. He also enjoys weight training and entering fishing tournaments hosted by the local Big Game Fishing Club.
